Janos has been Arizona's highest rated restaurant since 1983, and Chef Janos Wilder was winner of the James Beard Award for the Best Chef in the Southwest, 2000. Interior spaces feature aubergine and soft yellow walls, a welcoming fireplace, diverse contemporary art, a shimmering gold leafed ceiling, an ornate cherub adorned chandelier, elegant silver wall sconces and window after window overlooking the Tucson Valley. The decor, a sophisticated blend of French and Spanish Colonial aesthetics, echoes the culinary philosophy, and forms the backdrop for worldclass dining.
