The Boston Chart House is located in the four-story brick Gardiner Building which dates back to the 1760s. The building once housed the offices of American patriot John Hancock, and is the oldest building still in use on historic Long Wharf. After standing for 240 years, this landmark building was in danger of crumbling. This spring, Chart House finished a four-month long renovation that shored up and preserved the Gardiner Building for years to come.
